As we reported a few months ago, Chef Matt Murohy from the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans, contracted a streptococcus infection that led to toxic shock syndrome and disseminated intravascular coagulation, a condition that prevents proper blood coagulation. Well after many surgeries, and treatments he is finally back on the mend.
